Bellis Perennis is another Plant-based Remedy processed from plant commonly known by the name English Daisy, European Daisy, Common Daisy or Lawn Daisy. The word ‘Bellis’ means pretty and ‘Perennis’ means everlasting. This plant belongs to the Family Compositae. This plant is perennial but flowers only in early and mid-summer and is found in Western Europe, Central Europe and Northern Europe. Bellis Perennis acts pre-eminently on Skeletal muscle tissue like walls of the arteries and veins and the Muscular system itself. An individual needing Bellis Perennis has aches and pains with soreness as if they are sprained. This is due to nerve injury that has occurred during surgery or trauma to the deep tissue such as abdominal wall. Cold bathing is intolerant for this patient as it makes the soreness even worse.
