Bellis Perennis is another Plant-based Remedy processed from plant commonly known by the name English Daisy, European Daisy, Common Daisy or Lawn Daisy. Bellis Perennis acts pre-eminently on Skeletal muscle tissue like walls of the arteries and veins and the Muscular system itself.
An individual needing Bellis Perennis has aches and pains with soreness as if they are sprained. This is due to nerve injury that has occurred during surgery or trauma to the deep tissue such as abdominal wall. Cold bathing is intolerant for this patient as it makes the soreness even worse. Patient develops complaints from ingesting cold food or drink when the body is heated. There is generalized Rheumatic pains throughout the body that is there is stiffness, dull, aching continuous pain of the affected parts. Patients’ complaints worsen on left side, hot bath, warmth of bed, before storms, cold bathing and by cold wind.
To summarize, Bellis Perennis is the best remedy for deeper tissues after major surgical work or
results of injury to nerves with intense soreness and intolerance to cold bathing. Patients’ experience soreness & lameness of parts and the Remedy chiefly acts on muscular fibers of the blood vessels.
Potency and Repetition:
It is a good idea to start with low potency. Low potencies include potencies such as 6X, 12X or 30C. (For example: Bellis Perennis 30 C). Stop taking the Medicine if symptoms worsen and consult with your Professional Homeopath.
This is not a Medical Advice. It’s a general indication for injuries and muscle aches. Homeopathic prescription is based on each individual’s mental, physical and emotional detailed assessment and final prescription is made on individuals’ personality. The recommendation on Potency and Repetition is generalized as there is no ‘one size fits all’ for Homeopathic Prescription. This post is a good guide for First Aids.
